김연호는 현대 사회 속에서 일상적으로 마주하는 불안과 감정의 흔적들을 섬세하게 포착하고, 이를 회화적 언어로 환기시키는 작업을 이어가고 있다. 작가는 불안을 단순한 부정적 정서로 치부하지 않고, 그 감정 속에서 평온과 위안의 가능성을 탐색한다. 벤치, 가로등, 연꽃, 집과 같은 개인적이고 상징적인 오브제들을 활용하여 감정의 서사를 풀어내고, 색채와 구성의 미묘한 변주를 통해 감상의 깊이를 확장시킨다. Kim Yeun Ho captures and visualizes subtle traces of anxiety and emotional undercurrents encountered in everyday life. Rather than viewing anxiety as merely a negative emotion, she seeks its potential for calm and comfort. By using personal and symbolic imagery such as benches, lotus flowers, streetlights, and homes, she weaves emotional narratives into her paintings and enriches them with subtle variations in color and composition. 그녀의 작업은 무의식의 세계에서 길어올린 상징과 초현실적 공간 구성을 통해 내면의 치유를 시도하며, 동시에 관객에게도 감정적 해소의 통로를 제공한다. 연두색과 흰색처럼 위안과 평온을 불러일으키는 색채를 중심으로 추상적 연상을 유도하며, 동물이나 사물의 의인화를 통해 내면의 소망을 투영하고 관객의 몰입을 유도한다. Her works draw from the unconscious to create symbolic and surreal spaces of healing, offering viewers a pathway to emotional resolution. With colors like soft green and white—evoking tranquility and comfort—she fosters abstract associations. Through the personification of animals or inanimate objects, she projects internal desires and deepens audience engagement. 김연호는 조선대학교 미술학과에서 서양화를 전공하였고, 동 대학원에서 석사 과정을 수료했다. 광주시립미술관 청년예술인지원센터 2기 및 3기 입주작가로 활동했으며, 개인전과 다수의 그룹전을 통해 활발한 창작 활동을 이어가고 있다. Kim studied Western Painting at Chosun University and completed her master's coursework at the same institution. She participated in artist-in-residence programs at the Gwangju Museum of Art (Youth Art Support Center, 2nd and 3rd cohorts), and continues to present her work through solo and group exhibitions throughout Korea.
